OpenMAX - The Standard for Media Library Portability

Saw this OpenMax thing on MP4 mailing list. Seems useful enough, but no idea what the licensing agreement is like. Says it's royalty free. How about source codes?

CommsDesign - Minerva Networks, Nortel team on IPTV

CommsDesign has an old article on Minerva Networks, Nortel teaming up to deliver API for real-time IPTV services. The API is based on Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), which sounds familiar enough. Probably worth looking into a bit further.
